Peer-To-Peer architectures using Asynchronous Web services

چکیده
In this paper, we describe Everyware, a platform for peer-to-peer applications based on Web services standards. It is conceived to support personal information sharing among peers using different devices and hardware infrastructure. Using open standards and a completely distributed approach, Everyware allows end users to deploy personal Web services easily without requiring configuration or administration efforts. A comparison with similar initiatives is made, centered on major issues of peer-to-peer architectures and Web services orchestration. A real application based on Everyware is presented and related implementation issues are discussed.

Semantic Web Services and DHT-based Peer-to-Peer Networks: A New Symbiotic Relationship
In this short position paper, we will describe the intersecting properties of Semantic Web Services (SWS) and DHT-based Peer-to-Peer networks (DHT-P) and then propose an integrated architecture, which utilizes each other’s properties to solve their respective problems. Finally, we go beyond the architecture and list some open issues for effective deployment of such architectures.
متن کاملTriana as a Graphical Web Services Composition Toolkit
In this paper, we extend the functionality of the Triana problem-solving environment into the Web services world. Triana uses a peer to peer subset of the GridLab GAT interface, that we have labeled the GAP Interface. The GAT/GAP are middleware independent APIs that allows transparent access to various underlying middleware architectures. Current GAP bindings include JXTA and P2PS, an in house ...
متن کاملService-based architecture of Access-eGov system
The paper describes functional architecture of Access-eGov system – a platform for integration of e-Government services on a semantic level. Design follows principles of peer-to-peer and service-oriented architectures, with implementation of Web Services. The overview of main system components is presented, together with the brief functional description.
متن کاملCOLLABORATIVE RESEARCH: Software Architectures for Distributed Web Services Based on Peer-to-Peer Technologies
One of the most pressing issues faced by today’s IT researchers is how to provide a distributed server infrastructure to accommodate the exponentially increasing web accesses. This project considers web services consisting of geographically distributed servers, client caching, proxy caching, and distributed searching in a virtual network, embedded on top of a physical network. A set of software...
متن کاملPeer-to-Peer Semantic Web Services: A Symbiotic Relationship for Knowledge Sharing
The building of complex information systems got a big boost with the advent of service-driven architectures. However, at present, service architectures look beyond standardize remote procedure calls and textual directories to locate and describe a service provider based on human intervention. In this paper we consider three important paradigms for building next generation service-driven systems...
